Summary
1996-10-21: While WJA102 B737 was taking off from Vancouver, another departing aircraft reported fluid leaking out of the left engine. At 1709Z, (60 N) the crew of WJA102 reported an unspecified problem , however further inquiry into problem, revealed #1 engine out and returning to Vancouver. Aircraft landed safely 1721Z.
