Incident at Abbotsford

Summary

1996-08-01: During take-off the #2 engine fire warning on Conar 579 illuminated and the pilot shut the engine down. He landed at Abbotsford without further incident. An examination revealed that the fire warning was activated by a broken exhaust fitting.
