Incident at Penticton, British Columbia
Summary
1996-07-15: While CDR1123 was taxiing on ramp, a parked aircraft (FVDP) was nearly blown on its wing. CDR1123 was advised. CFR requested to block propwash when CDR1123 starts up. ABL669 (DHC-8) was 250 feet from FVDP (not perceived to be a threat), started one engine and tipped FVDP up on one wing. CFR responded to block further propwash and CDR1123 was repositioned. No impact on operations.
