Summary

1996-07-09: During the take-off run, the pilot lifted the aircraft off the water at 40 mph. Due to muggy environmental conditions, however, the aircraft did not climb, but settled onto the gravel embankment of the adjacent runway. There was no injury, but the aircraft sustained substantial damage.
