Incident at Smithers, British Columbia
Summary
1996-05-24: GHHN was doing training over the airport up to 5000' asl. GLR2001 (BE02) reported inbound and was given airport advisory including helicopter traffic. GHHN advised initiating a practice autorotation to the middle of runway 14/32. The heicopter was advised of the position of the BE02. GHHN was on the runway when the BE02 was on short final for 14. BE02 pulled up, competed a circuit and landed safely on runway 14 after the helicopter had departed.
