Incident at Vancouver, British Columbia (ATS operating irregularity)
Summary
1997-01-29: NRV302 (BE100) Vancouver to Bella Bella Campbell Island, departed runway 26 behind CDN2598 (DHC-8), Vancouver to Smithers. Second aircraft was 10-30km faster as well as climbing faster than preceding aircraft. Separation deteriorated to approx 1.5 miles and 600 feet before second aircraft was turned.
