Incident at Jordan River B.C.

Summary

1996-03-18: The helicopter was conducting slinging operations in the area of Jordan River. The pilot was enroute to pick up the next load when the aircraft experienced severe vibration. He landed immediately on the shore causing damage to the skid gear. When the pilot exited the aircraft he discovered that the tail rotor had failed.
