Incident at COMOX

Summary

1996-03-04: C-FVDM was VFR from Port Hardy to Powell River. At 2250Z the pilot advised he was approaching the Campbell River spit and the ceiling was 200-300 ft visibility 1/2 mile in snow, and requested weather for Powell River. Due to the poor weather in the Campbell River area, the pilot was switched to Comox terminal for radar vectors. The aircraft landed safely at the Comox Airport.
