Incident at Vancouver
Summary
1997-01-29: UAL 444 departed RWY 26 climbing to seven thousand feet. The climb was aborted and a descent initiated as a result of a TCAS alarm. A C172 (GWZB) was observed on the departure path at 1500 ft. Tower was aware of the traffic, but did not pass it to UAL 444.
