Incident at PRINCE RUPERT BC (CYPR) (Incursion - runway - vehicle)
Summary
1997-01-29: Blower122 was cleared onto Rwy 13 to clear snow windrows along runway edges at 1845Z. At 1854Z C550 C-GMPQ was given a departure advisory for runway13 without mention of vehicle on runway. The C550 departed with the snowblower working approximately three feet inside the east runway edge. The pilot did not mention vehicle location to the FSS duty operator. ATC was notified at 2325Z of the incident. FSSM is investigating the incident.
