Incident at KELOWNA (Incursion - runway - vehicle)
Summary
1996-02-07: CDR 1101 was cleared for the approach at 1407Z. At 1412Z on a 6 mile final, aircraft called to confirm that snow removal vehicle was clear of the runway. At that time Penticton FSS instructed vehicle to clear, and vehicle subsequently reported off. At 1416Z CDR 1101 reported down. No operational impact.
