Incident at 80 miles SW of Toronto

Summary

1996-12-06: Enroute from Ohio to Quebec, formation declared an emergency and one aircraft left the formation and diverted to Toronto (LBPIA). The aircraft landed without incident on runway 06R at 2123Z. After exiting the runway, the aircraft had to be towed to the ramp. Ops. Impact -- approximately 12 aircraft were delayed. The pilot later explained that there had been fuel transfer problems and a stuck throttle, making it necessary to flame out the engine over the threshold.
