Summary
1996-11-04: ACA791 had departed Toronto (LBPIA) for Los Angeles when the aircraft experienced an engine failure approximately 30 miles northwest of Toronto. The crew requested a return to Toronto (LBPIA). The aircraft burned fuel for 20 minutes and then landed on runway 24R at 1518Z. I.C. called out. The aircraft taxiied off the runway under its own power. S.O.B. -- 180. Ops. impact -- minor delays; single runway for arrival.
