Incident at Hamilton, Ontario
Summary
1996-10-28: During the landing flare, the aircraft encountered a wind shift from left to right. The aircraft touched down firmly left of the centreline, and then drifted further to the left. The crew did not think that they aircraft had left the runway, as the captain regained the centreline with the input of right rudder. Subsequent to the landing, it was established that the aircraft contacted at least three runway edge lights with the left main landing gear wheels. The left main landing gear wheels were replaced and the aircraft returned to service. Ops. Impact -- unknown. From a TSB Initial Notification.
