Incident at near Sault Ste. Marie Airport (CYAM)


1996-10-23: The aircraft (operating as ONT299) was on an IFR flight to Sault Ste. Marie Airport (CYAM). The aircraft was eight (8) miles final for runway 29 when the flight crew declared an emergency due to a burning smell in the cockpit. ERS were advised and the aircraft landed without further incident at 0231Z. Ops. impact -- unknown.
