Summary
1996-10-16: After landing on runway 24R, the crew of AAL458 reported tire debris on the runway (possibly from the previous landing aircraft, CDN87, a DC-10). Ops. impact -- minimal. The runway was closed until 0204Z and arriving aircraft were assigned to runway 24L. Departing aricraft were assigned to runways 15 and 24L.
