Summary
1996-09-26: ACA127 (Air Canada) taxied to position on runway 24R by tower. CDN962 subsequently cleared to land runway 24R. Pilot of CDN962 questioned tower about aircraft in position for takeoff. Tower overshot CDN962 and CDR1912. Investigation in progress. Ops. Impact -- arrival delays due single runway operations; some departure delays.
