Incident at MOOSONEE ON (CYMO)

Summary

1996-09-19: The aircraft (operating as VAL796) was on an IFR flight from Moosonee Airport (CYMO) to Kingston Municipal Airport (CYGK). At 1744Z, Timmins F.S.S. staff received a call from the flight crew of VAL796 (in Kingston), asking if Moosonee Field Maintenance had found a heat shield from one of the aircraft's wheel wells. The flight crew had heard a ""bang"" during the departure from Moosonee and found that this shield was missing when they landed at Kingston. Moosonee Field Maintenance were called and asked if they could look for the missing part on the field. They later reported finding the damaged shield. Ops. impact -- none.
