Summary
1996-09-04: The glider was too low and the pilot decided to land in a field. On approach, the glider contacted some hydro wires and landed on country road 7, about one and one-half miles northwest of the town of Alma (about 30 miles north of Kitchener/Waterloo). One (1) S.O.B. -- fatally injured. Damage -- substantial.
