1996-09-03: Sometime during the afternoon (exact time not known), the float plane departed Tweed Lake. According to witnesses, the aircraft dipped about 90 degrees and then crashed in a field. The pilot got out and was taken to hospital by fishermen. Ops. impact -- none. Damage -- unknown. Injuries -- pilot had a broken leg and other injuries.
