Incident at near Brampton
Summary
1996-06-01: The pilot declared a Mayday on 118.7, indicating he had lost his way to Brampton Airport (CNC3). C-GSKP was identified by the TRSA Controller who suggested a 190 degree heading for Brampton. The Tower Controller gave the aircraft a 190 degree heading and changed aircraft to 124.47 for the Terminal Controller. The aircraft went off all frequencies and landed at Brampton at 1948Z without any further contact with anyone. Ops. impact -- all Toronto (LBPIA) (CYYZ) traffic had to be changed to 118.35 due to C-GSKP on 118.7.
