Summary
1996-05-25: UPDATE: The engine failure was caused by the ingestion of a bird, struck during rotation.
1996-05-18: The aircraft (operating as BAW6746) was departing on an IFR flight from Toronto (LBPIA) (CYYZ) to London (Heathrow) International Airport, England (U.K.) (EGLL). During the departure from runway 24, one engine failed with a loud bang. The aircraft proceeded over Lake Ontario to dump fuel and returned to land on runway 15 at 0118Z without further incident. Ops. impact -- minimal.
