Incident at Lake Erie shoreline (near Rodney, Ontario)

Summary

1996-03-23: A mayday was received by London advising of an engine failure and the pilot's intention to land along the Lake Erie shore. Ontario Provincial Police were advised at 1930Z. The aircraft and survivors were observed in the water just off shore. Two (2) survivors were rescued by Selkirk Coast Guard and transported to London Hospital. Two S.O.B. Damage -- extensive. Ops. impact -- none.
