Incident at Dayton (Ohio, U.S.A.)
Summary
1996-03-02: During take-off, the number 2 engine experienced vibration and compressor stalls. The engine was shut down by the crew and the aircraft returned for an uneventful landing at Dayton. Examination revealed a complete compressor failure. The aircraft was ferried to Ottawa (M-CIA) for an engine change. Ops. impact -- unknown. Three (3) crew on board. From a TSB Initial Notification.
