Accident at TORONTO / LESTER B. PEARSON INTL ON (CYYZ)
Summary
1996-02-19: During the takeoff from runway 24R, the aircraft rotated prematurely at approximately V1, without any crew input. The first officer, who was performing the takeoff, lowered the nose to increase the airspeed. The aircraft accelerated to the normal flight speed and the aircraft proceeded to Vancouver without further incident. After landing in Vancouver, an inspection revealed that the underside of the tail had sustained damage. Ops. Impact -- unknown. From a TSB Initial Investigation.
