Incident at Edmonton, Alberta

Summary

1997-01-02: When the Fokker F28 crew selected the gear down on approach, there was no down indication for the left hand gear. After overshooting and two more circuits, the problem was resolved, and the aircraft landed without incident. Maintenance suspect a frozen microswitch for the indication problem. The left hand gear oleo was also flat.
