Summary
1996-12-30: The pilot of C-FUOB, a PA30, on a VFR flight from St. Andrews to Marathon, departed at 2200Z. The aircraft was approximately 15 miles east of Winnipeg when the pilot reported to Winnipeg TCU, smelling smoke in the cockpit and requested a return to St. Andrews. The pilot declined the ERS equipment and landed safely at 2212Z.
