Summary
1996-12-19: The A320 flight crew received a TCAS RA on base leg for runway 34. They turned to avoid the target at the same time as ATC warned of the conflict with a VFR Cessna 172 which had climbed without clearance to the same altitude as the A320. The Cessna 172 passed to the left of the A320. The distance between the aircraft was not reported.
