1996-12-18: On approach to Calgary, the crew of Northwest Orient Airlines Inc. Flight 1543 inbound from Minneapolis-St. Paul noticed a problem with the left main gear. The pilot requested ERS standby. There were 52 SOB, 9000 lbs of fuel on board. The aircraft landed safely at 2030Z.
