Incident at EDMONTON CITY CENTRE / BLATCHFORD AB (CYXD)

Summary

1996-12-09: While inbound to the University of Alberta Hospital, from Penoka, Alberta, the crew of "STARS" medevac helicopter reported a chip light on the left engine. This necessitated the aircraft to divert to City Centre Airport where a landing was safely accomplished. The patient was met by ambulance and taken to the University of Alberta Hospital.
