Incident at Medicine Hat, Alberta


1996-12-06: Two overflying aircraft ACA849 and NCA116 received transmissions on emergency frequency 121.5 from a hot air balloon indicating that they were stranded in a remote location (vicinity of Medicine Hat) and requested that their company be notified so that they could be picked up. Their company, Search and Rescue, TSB were all informed.
