Incident at Red Deer, Alberta (Incursion - runway - vehicle)
Summary
1996-11-26: The driver of a Ford Mustang entered onto runway 34/16 at Red Deer without authorization and gave the car's engine a work out. RCMP were notified, FSS advised air traffic in the area that a vehicle was on the runway. The car departed the runway and airport property, however, the police apprehended the driver and his vehicle. No air traffic was inconvenienced.
