Summary
1996-11-19: While taxing for departure to Minneapolis from Winnipeg, the crew of NWA788 missed a turn on Hotel taxiway between V and F and came to rest with the right main gear and nose wheel off the taxiway surface. Airport Operations were advised and efforts to move the aircraft failed. At approximately 0455Z, passengers were deplaned and transported to the terminal building by bus. The aircraft was eventually moved by a bridal type of arrangement and was towed back to the terminal where the aircraft remained over night so that further inspection of the aircraft could be conducted.
