Incident at PRINCE ALBERT (GLASS FIELD) SK (CYPA)

Summary

1997-02-20: The aircraft was taxiing for a local training flight with a VFR departure. The pilot was advised that runway 26 was in use and that a vehicle was on the runway. FSS personnel further advised the pilot that he would be told when the vehicle would be off the runway. The aircraft taxied past the vehicle which was on the runway. The pilot then manoeuvred the aircraft to a take off position and then departed over top of the vehicle before it had left the runway.
