Incident at Sioux Lookout, Ontario
Summary
1996-10-18: While inbound to Sioux Lookout the crew of Bearskin Air 3321, a BE 99 , advised Sioux Lookout FSS that due to a fire warning indication on the starboard engine they had shut down and secured the affected power plant. Just prior to landing the crew restarted the engine and the landing was made without further incident. The aircraft was then taxied to the company maintenance facility where faulty wiring was found. This casued an erroneous fire warning indication in the cockpit.
