Accident at CKR8

1996-12-10: The wreckage of an RAF 2000 Gyroplane was found by the airport owner/operator beside the runway at Carrot River, Saskatchewan. The pilot and only occupant was fatally injured and the aircraft was substantially damaged . Two TSB field investigators have been deployed to support the provincial Solictor-General/Coroner to determine the extent if any, of possible safety deficiencies.
