Incident at Thompson, Manitoba


1996-09-18: The pilot of C-GQPN, a PA28, became disoriented enroute Churchill DCT Thompson. The pilot landed the aircraft at South Indian Lake and then departed for Thompson. The Duty FSS and local pilots were able to assist with suggested steers and geographic fix. The pilot landed the aircraft safely at Thompson at 2013Z.
