Accident at 5 Miles NE of Kenaston, SK

Summary

1996-09-12: The Cessna A188B, Agwagon, C-GFVR was taking off from a private farm airstrip for a local aerial application flight. Shortly after lift-off the aircraft stopped climbing and began to settle. The aircraft's wingtip contacted nearby tree tops and the aircraft cartwheeled and crashed in an adjacent field. The aircraft came to rest right-side-up but had sustained substantial damage. The pilot was seriously injured. There was no aircraft malfunction reported.
