Summary

1996-08-26: The Ptarmigan Airways Grumman GI, C-GPTG, was climbing through 17,000 feet en route Baker Lake, NWT, to Yellowknife, NWT, when the generator failure/hot light illuminated. As a precautionary measure the crew shutdown the left engine and returned to Baker Lake.
