Accident at Kenora, Ontario
Summary
1996-08-26: The pilot of C-GDFR, a Maule, ML6 floatplane was landing when high winds buffetted the aircraft and lifted it from the water surface. The pilot had little or no aileron control to correct the situation and the aircraft wing caught the water. Local Kenora weather at the time of occurrence reported as E25 OVC 10 TRWA 2815G25 CB10 LTGCG Hail Diam 05MM. There was four on board, one person received minor injuries.
