Incident at La Ronge, Saskatchewan
Summary
1996-08-07: The Canadair CL215 was enroute Lower Fishing Lake from La Ronge, when the left engine began to run rough. The crew elected to shut down the affected engine and return to La Ronge. The aircraft landed safely and there were no injuries. Maintenance determined that a cylinder had failed and that the engine required changing.
