Incident at Thunder Bay, ON
Summary
2000-05-03: The Canadian Regional F28, C-FCRK, had departed Thunder Bay for a scheduled flight to Toronto. Shortly after take off, the crew detected a battery overheat warning. The crew elected to return to Thunder Bay, where an uneventful landing was made with ERS standing by. There were no injuries and the aircraft was undamaged. Maintenance determined that the battery was serviceable and the overheat warning was a false indication.
