Summary

1996-12-10: The pilot reported a complete loss of power shortly after departure from the Morden airport. The pilot was unable to restart the engine. The aircraft force landed in a canola field. The aircraft came to rest inverted; the pilot suffered minor cuts and scrapes. UPDATE: A maintenance engineer who examined the aircraft after the occurrence reported finding water in the carburetor float bowl.
