Incident at Winnipeg, Manitoba


1996-07-11: The Northway Aviation PA-31 left engine throttle was stuck during the departure climb from Winnipeg enroute to Pine Dock, Manitoba. The pilot returned to Winnipeg, shut down the left engine on final and landed. Company maintenance personnel determined that the left throttle cable had frayed and caused the throttle to bind during the power reduction after takeoff.
