Incident at 130NM east of Regina, Sask.
Summary
1996-06-07: The crew of KFA7066 which was enroute Regina from Winnipeg advised Regina that due to a fire warning indication that they had shut down an engine and were proceeding to Regina where an uneventful landing was accomplished. Since a crash fire rescue was not available till 1200Z the Regina City Fire department was placed on standby. UPDATE: Maintenance found an unserviceable fire detection loop connector. The aircraft was repaired and returned to service. The company has submitted an SDR to Transport Canada.
