Incident at 60 Miles Northeast Saskatoon

Summary

1996-05-16: While enroute Winnipeg from Cold Lake, the crew of Oiler38, a military C130 Hercules, advised ATC that they had shut down and secured the number two engine. The aircraft continued to Winnipeg where an uneventful landing was conducted on runway 13 at 0020Z. ERS were called out, no other aircraft were inconvenienced and there were besides the two pilots 8 additional crew members on board.
