Incident at LaRonge, Saskatchewan
Summary
1996-05-13: The crew of ABS204 advised LaRonge Air Radio that they had shut down and secured the No. 2 engine as a precaution. The aircraft was landed safely at 1406Z without further incident. The aircraft was removed from service so that maintenance could conduct an inspection of the affected power plant. TSB to update. UPDATE: Maintenance subsequently determined that the engine's fuel control unit had failed.
