Incident at Long Dog Lake, Ontario

Summary

1996-05-02: The wheel ski equipped Cessna 185, C-GOTD, had landed at Long Dog Lake and was taxiing in when the right gear leg folded forward. The aircraft sustained minor damage. The pilot, the sole occupant was uninjured. Maintenance found that the right hand main gear box fuselage attachment structure had failed.
