Incident at Winnipeg, Manitoba
Summary
1996-04-02: The crew of Voyageur Airways Beech 200 C-GIND were conducting simulated IFR approaches to runway 18 at Winnipeg. The crew were advised by Tower to do a low approach and over shoot because there were three pieces of snow clearing equipment on or near the runway. The aircraft was observed to do a touch and go when there was equipment on the runway. ATC reviewed the tapes and determined that this was an error by the crew of C-GIND.
