Incident at Thompson, Manitoba

Summary

1996-03-20: The pilot of Manitoba Government Air Division, a PA31 Navajo, who was inbound to Thompson from Island Lake advised Thompson radio that his right engine oil pressure gauge showed a significant drop in pressure. The pilot did not shut down the engine, he did however continue to monitor the situation until an uneventful landing was accomplished at Thompson. ERS was on standby. There were three passengers besides the pilot on board.
